Roundtop is a really fun mountain to snowboard. I’ve been riding here since I was younger and it’s always been a good spot with a nice variety of trails. The terrain parks are fun and there are enough runs to keep things interesting all day. Great atmosphere and a solid place to spend the day riding with friends.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Ski Roundtop!! The ski school was perfect for first time skiers and more advanced skiers too. Instructors were positive and enthusiastic with students. The encouragement and confidence building was amazing. The ski areas were well thought out and lines moved quickly and efficiently from magic carpets to chairlifts. Food at the lodge was delicious and there were enough options to satisfy even our picky eater. Tables were a bit cramped but understandable due to the volume of people. Serving lines moved steadily. Overall a wonderful experience.

Great mountain for beginner and intermediate. I don’t ride blacks yet so I can’t say much about those. My boyfriend had to get rentals and the line took hours, but I guess it was because another nearby mountain was closed for the day so everyone was coming here. I was told by others that the line is normally much quicker. Food prices were surprisingly reasonable. Parking was decent and shuttles were quick. Overall had a great time.

This is the best thing to do for the wintertime for your child. There is snow tubing, skiing lessons, and lots more things that guarantee fun. You’ll strive through the snow and see your child get taught how to ski from an instructor, and watch yourself have fun in this wonderland.

Good snow but half open. Plenty of snow made in piles but groomer died so they could not complete moving and grooming snow piles.

As far as mid atlantic mountains go, Roundtop is probably the best one we've been to. Very wide mountain with many lifts and runs for all skill levels. Even on a Presidents Day Monday with parking lots full none of the lift lines were longer than a minute or two in the middle and left part of the mountain. The green side may have had longer kid lines but for a busy holiday weekend, not bad!

A Family Gem: Our Experience at Roundtop Mountain Resort If you’re looking for a mountain that truly understands the "family" part of family vacation, Roundtop Mountain Resort is it. We recently visited and were blown away by the level of service and the quality of the experience, even when mother nature wasn't exactly cooperating. The Highlights Miraculous Snowmaking: We visited on a day when it was 60°F outside, which usually means hiking instead of skiing. However, the mountain operations team worked some serious magic. They managed to keep the runs covered and skiable despite the warm spring-like weather. Top-Tier Instruction: The instructors here are fantastic. They were incredibly patient and kind with both the kids and the parents. Learning can be stressful, but they kept the energy positive and the environment safe for everyone. Perfect for Families: From the layout to the atmosphere, this place is built for parents and children to enjoy the outdoors together without the intimidation factor of larger resorts. A Special Shout-Out: Equipment Rentals We have to give a massive thank you to Carrie in the equipment department. Renting gear can often be the most chaotic part of the day, but Carrie was a total pro. "She was the most patient equipment person there and did an excellent job with everyone. Her helpfulness truly stood out and made our transition to the slopes seamless." Final Verdict Roundtop is a wonderful destination where the staff clearly cares about the guest experience. Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned pro navigating a warm-weather day, you’ll be in great hands.
